Meet the Team

Jeff Mendlesohn

Jeff qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1978 and started his own practice in 1982. To be a good accountant you need intellect, experience, a sense of understanding and communication skills. Jeff has all these, together with the human touch and a sprinkling of humour. His 30 odd years' experience allows him to pinpoint a client's issues and translate them into meaningful answers. Believing that every client should feel understood and supported, his enthusiasm and interest in people means he treats every client as if they were his first.

Jeff has a broad knowledge of all areas of accountancy and taxation, including corporate and personal taxation, complex accounting issues as well as areas as diverse as estate planning and probate to company start-ups and cessations. His client base ranges from one man bands to mid-size corporations, entrepreneurs and high profile individuals to the man and woman in the street.

Jeff's personal interests are just as diverse. A keen and active sportsman, including competitive football and member of a number of gyms he is also extensively read and a family man. Amongst his charitable endeavours he has climbed numerous mountains for charity, including Everest base camp and Kilimanjaro.

Dennis Jacobs FCA (Partner)

Qualified as a Chartered accountant in 1973. Worked as FD for property company until 1981, at which time formed his own Chartered Accountancy firm. Since that time headed up his own firm working amongst others in the music and entertainment fields and became a founding member of ‘DJM’ in 2007.

Member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.

Areas of expertise: Music accounting and tax, T.V and Films accounting and tax, Limited Liability Companies accounts and taxation, Self Employed accounts and taxation, Partnerships including LLP’s accounts and taxation.

Interests and hobbies: All sports and still a keen tennis player, Theatre and the arts (married to ex Royal ballet dancer), Pop and classical music, Reading, Travelling.

Vincent Reay

Vincent is responsible for the management of the firm and its strategic direction.

Vincent has a degree in Mathematics, Operational research statistics and Economics from Warwick University and an MBA in Finance. A qualified project manager he has particular experience in Identifying improvement opportunities at an organisational, process and technology level and designing and managing effective projects to realise these.

Vincent has extensive consultancy experience having worked on two of the largest UK banking divestments and also change and transformation projects within the fund management and finance industry.

He has been involved in various start ups in the motor industry, construction, property development.

Vincent lives in London and enjoys cycling, motor sport and running.
